Albert D. Muscolo

Albert D. Muscolo, 85, a longtime resident of Wilmington’s “Little Italy” passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Kutz Home in Wilmington, Delaware.

Always generous and kind, Albert, a tailor, was loved by his family and friends. He was an active member of St. Anthony’s of Padua Roman Catholic Parish, the St. Anthony’s Club and the Knights of Columbus. Albert was a devoted husband to his late wife Anna Bocchini Muscolo. They enjoyed traveling to Italy among other places around the world.  In addition to his late wife, Albert was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Carmella Muscolo, and his brother, Salvatore. He is survived by his sister Theresa Shaw, his brother in law Anthony Bocchini (Carol), his sister in law, Rose M. Cutrona, and his nieces and nephews: Carmen Cutrona, Jr., Christine Iacovelli, Rose C. Mattei, Madalyn Petit, Laura Swaney, Diane Walsh, Ruthann Walsh and William Walsh.  We wish to thank the Kutz Home and Compassionate Care Hospice for their kindness and loving care.  Memorial Gifts may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 701 North Clayton Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19805, 302-421-4690.  The Corleto Latina Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church, 901 N. DuPont Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19805, where friends and family may call after 9:00 am.
