To all the members of Alfonse Family:
Please accept my sincere condolences on you lost.  Alfonse was a very
daear and special friend.  The memories of the BobALou and parties in the Ciccarelli basement will go on forever.  I am sure that Bob Feeney and all
the passing Lucians are having a great party as Gerry Gallucio will be right in the middle with a big laugh. I will always remember him for a great smile and loving personality.
All my best and love,  Barbaranne

To The Family,
Please accept my condolence. My heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow. I hope that you are able to draw comfort from the scriptures during this difficult time. One of my favorite text says, “If an able-bodied man dies can he live again?  You will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning.” (Job 14:14, 15).

Please forward this message to the family of Alfonse Ciccarelli:

Dear Ciccarelli family,
My name is Michele Russo Biliski and I am a nurse who has worked at Nemours Alfred I DuPont Hospital for Children for over 36 years.  I started in 1976 which was most likely after Alfonse was treated here.  May I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family in the passing of your brother.  The message below is about our annual Radiothon and we are looking for families with stories to tell about the “Institute”.   If in the midst of your grief, you might be able to share some fond memories of Alfonse and his time here as a patient, we would love to hear his story.   Your fond mention of the Institute in his obituary moved me to reach out to you.
With Sincere Sympathy,

Michele Russo Biliski, RN

Subject: Stories Needed for Radiothon!

  April 2013

Stories Needed for Third Annual Help Our Kids Radiothon
Your help is needed to identify families who may be willing to share their stories during our Third Annual Help Our Kids Radiothon. Delmarva Broadcasting Company, Inc., our Radiothon sponsor, would like to videotape a number of families either in their homes or at the radio station in the very near future. Others will be interviewed live during the event, which will take place on September 10th and 11th.
We’re looking for powerful stories of children aged birth-21 whose lives have been changed by the care they received from Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and will capture the interest of our listeners during the Radiothon.
Last year, the Help Our Kids Radiothon raised more than $122,000 for the benefit of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. You can help boost that total by recommending families who may want to participate in the event. It’s lots of fun for families and kids to be involved.
Please email Holly.Oxendale@nemours.org by April 19th, providing the patient’s name and brief description of their medical condition. We will take it from there! Please do not contact the family at this point, as we may not use all of the stories that are identified. Thanks for your help.

It is with a heavy heart that we have been given the privilege and honor to provide our services to a genuine gentleman and friend.   Al will be sadly missed by many but never forgotten for his kind nature, infectious smile, and sense of humor.  He was truly one of the nicest people anyone could have had the pleasure of knowing.
