Angel L. Mendez

Angel L. Mendez “Guito”, Age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday June 22, 2016

Angel was born in Dorado, Puerto Rico on July 1st 1934, to the late Modesto Mendez and Miguelina Perez. 

Angel was a Vietnam War veteran. He was an active member of the Salvation Army as well as St. Jude Hospital for children. His hobbies were music, sports, walking and reading. Angel had passion/ love for horses.  He was always trying to stay healthy.

Angel is survived by 4 children Luis Angel Mendez, Deborah Charriez, Carmen Morales and Kayliene Rivera. He also left behind, to cherish his memory, his best friend Virginia Johnson “Ginger”.

He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nephews & nieces.

Interment for Angel will be held in Delaware Veterans Cemetery, on July 1, 2016 at 11:00am.
