He and his loving wife Mary of 64 years then moved to Boynton Beach, Florida where he enjoyed golf and the companionship of his new friends. His home in Wilmington was a gathering place for family members and dear friends. Everyone looked forward to the holidays were Italian traditions were enjoyed and where all were welcome. Especially important to him was Christmas where the food and fun abounded and memories were created for children and adults.
