Antonio "Tony" Iezzi

Antonio “Tony” Iezzi, Sr., 93, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Sept. 08, 2017.
Tony came to America from Abruzzi, Italy in 1937. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years Gemma (Marra), his son Antonio Iezzi Jr, and his wife Susan, of Hilton Head Island, SC, his daughter Loretta R. Farkas, and her husband Gabor, of Middletown, DE, and grandson Dr. Gabor A. Farkas, and his wife Melody, of League City, TX, two great grandsons, Lex and Johnny Farkas, and many and nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Carman & Loretta (Presenza) Iezzi, by his sister Filomena, and his brothers Joe and Jimmy.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept 14th at Holy Family Church, 15 Gender Rd.
