Colleaf C Andrews

Colleaf C. Andrews of Newark, DE passed away suddenly at home in the early morning hours of April 12,2017; he was 39. Originally from Newark, NJ he was born on November 10,1977. Colleaf served in The United States Navy for 7 years off the coast of San Diego on Coronado Island. In his 39 short years Colleaf lived in New Jersey, California, Indiana and Delaware and often referred to himself as a nomad. 

Colleaf was a HUGE Philadelphia Eagles fan, first falling in love with the team in the late 80’s when Randall Cunningham led the offense at quarterback. He had a lifelong love of gaming beginning with the very first Nintendo system when he was a child. Colleaf enjoyed a variety of music and often got compliments for his moves on the dance floor. He was an avid coffee drinker and was known to brew fresh pots throughout the day. His greatest joy in life was his children and he truly enjoyed being a father.

Colleaf is survived by his wife Kimberly Garbe with whom he had one child (Olivia, 4)  He is also survived by his eldest daughter (Jacqueline, 12) his first son (Elijah, 11) and his youngest son (Isaiah,5). Additionally his mother, Yvonne Andrews of Sacramento, CA and his father, Craig White, of Elizabeth, New Jersey.  He will be remembered by many siblings as well as nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held for Colleaf on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 11:00am at the Corleto-Latina FAMILY CENTER 807 N. Union St., Wilmington, where friends and family are invited to call Monday Evening from 6:00-8:00pm and again on Tuesday morning from 10-11am.  Interment will follow Services in All Saints Cemetery.
