Daniel J. Petrucci , age 67, of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 22, 2016. Danny was born on May 29,1948 in Wilmington, DE, son of the late Walter and Dolores Petrucci.

Danny  graduated from Wilmington High School in 1968 And retired as a Printer from The News Journal. Danny was an avid Corvette enthusiast and enjoyed attending Corvette shows with his friends and family. Danny was also a member of OSIA (Prince of Piedmont Lodge), St. Anthony’s Holly Names Society, and the DAP. Danny was also a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his brother and sister in-law Junior (Walt) and Elizabeth Petrucci. He is survived by his loving significant other and best friend of 14 years Frannie Turtoro, his daughters Danielle K. Petrucci (Mike) and Nicole B. Petrucci, his grandchildren Brianna, Angelina and Anthony, Danny’s Sisters Nancy Gland (Jimmy), Dolores Petrucci and Theresa Petrucci and also Frannie’s children and grandchildren that he loved as much as his own, Gina Vitale (Leo), Colleen Hall (Jeff), Kim Heverin (Bill) and grandchildren Danielle (Mark), Valentina, randee, Nicholas, Gabriella and Jesse and Great grandchildren Santino and Dominic Noel and also Danny’s godson Chris Petrucci and all of his Neices, Nephews Aunts and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 12 noon at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and DuPont St. where friends may call after 9 am.  Interment will follow Mass in Cathedral Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Anthony of Padua school/Church and Cancer Research.
