Eileen M. Roche

Eileen M. Roche, age 73, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Compassionate Care Hospice, St. Francis Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Pantalione, and her mother, Margaret Pantalione.  Eileen is survived by her husband, John (Jack) Roche, of 39 years, her sister-in-law,  Patricia Roche, brother-in-law, Ricky Roche (Earlene) and Tom Roche.  She is a graduate of Padua Academy and a lifelong parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.  Eileen worked at the Post House and was a sacristan for St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church for many years. She also volunteered during St. Anthony’s Italian Festival at the Antonian Cafe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 11:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and DuPont Street, Wilmington.  Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday Evening, June 7, 2016, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Corleto-Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union Street, Wilmington.  Interment will be private following Mass.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Eileen to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 901 N.
