Ejea Borrelli was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Borrelli, their son, Louis Borrelli, Jr. and daughters, Mary Borrelli and Anna Marie Roseo. Ejea was born on August 11, 1919 on Howland Street in Wilmington. She was raised in little Italy with her 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She attended St. Anthony’s Church where she sang in the choir and where she met her husband, Lou. She also enjoyed playing volleyball through the church’s youth organization.

After marrying, the couple moved to Montchanin, Delaware and lived in the pink house on the DuPont estate, which is now The Inn at Montchanin Village. While living there, Ejea became one the first employees of the Winterthur Museum. She also helped her husband open Lincoln Camera Shop in Wilmington. She rode her bike from Montchanin to Lincoln Street in Wilmington to open the camera shop each day. She later moved to north Wilmington and when retired, spent 3 months each year in Marco Island, Florida.

Ejea enjoyed music and learned to play the piano by ear. She also liked to paint and make crafts. She especially like to paint pottery that she made while living in Florida during retirement. Ejea loved spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
