James "Coochie" A. DelGrosso

James A. DelGrosso, Sr., of Wilmington, DE, passed away at St. Francis Hospital on December 15, 2017.  He was 91.

Jim, or Coochie, as he was known, grew up on Scott St. in Wilmington's Little Italy.  Jim enjoyed singing and playing most sports, especially softball, golf, and bocci. Coochie was a member of St. Anthony's Club in Wilmington, St. Anthony's Club in New Castle, and Giuseppe Verdi Lodge #2457 in Wilmington.

Jim is survived by his 3 children:  James Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann; Debbie Ramone and her husband, Pat; and Donna Lynn; his grandchildren: Jimmy (Pam) and Michael DelGrosso, and Julie, Patrick (Jacquie), and Matthew Ramone; and great grandchildren, Cassia and Gemma DelGrosso.   Services were private.
