Jesus Garcia-Perez

Jesus Garcia- Perez (Shorty) was given his wings on September 4th, 2016. He was born in Corozal,  Puerto Rico - March 29, 1943.

Jesus enjoyed the beach, grilling, fishing, gardening, hanging with his family, watching lucha libre and adored his pets. Jesus would take his pet(s) to Crystal Beach and could be seen walking his pet up and down the beach to show them off. Jesus adored all animals and he would take care of all strays. Neighbors would see him feeding the animals each morning.  

Many will remember his sense of humor and caring nature. When he would tell a story, he held everyone’s attention until he delivered the punch line. Many friends and neighbors would walk by his home to say hello to “Papi”.

He enjoyed Jibaro, Salsa and Country Music. Jesus was known to attend concerts at Sunset Park in West Grove, PA to enjoy his favorite artists such as Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton.

He is survived by long term girlfriend of 20 plus years Nelly Torres; his children, Margarita (Christopher) Taylor, Maria Jobita (William) Paffett, Jesus (Margarita) Garcia Perez, Jr; his grandson Max Ocampo; sisters and many friends. We will miss our Jesus dearly.
