Jose A. Martinez

Jose Antonio Martinez was honorably promoted to the position of “Guardian Angel”.  He was awarded his shining wings on January 4, 2018 before the presence of God.  He was born on May 12, 1967 in Manati, Puerto Rico to Zulma I. Martinez.

In addition to his beloved Mother, Sister Betsy and Aunt Miriam, he leaves behind his children; Betsie Marie, Jessica Ivette, Jose Giovanni and Ava Sophia.  Also his four grandchildren, grandmother Elvira, nieces, nephews and his siblings; Victor, Carmelo, and Carmen plus Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Jose enjoyed playing pool and listening to Salsa music. He was a terrific son, brother, uncle, father and friend.  Helping others was his delight.  He will always be remembered with love, honor and respect.

A celebration of Jose’s life and Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 6:30pm at the Corleto Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union St. Wilmington, DE. 19805,  where family and friends may call after 5pm.
