My family sends their deepest condolences to Ms. Josephine's family. Death was not part of God’s original purpose for us. We all look forward to the promise at 1 Corinthians 15:26 – “the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” Death is an enemy that separates us from our loved ones. When this promise is fulfilled, we will have the joy of our loved ones being resurrected to enjoy life the way our Grand Creator purposed for us…forever on earth. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9, 11)

I first meet Josephine at St. Francis junior board meeting. Even though she was small in
Stature she had a warm smile that made you feel good. I liked her immediately. God must have loved her very much as he took her to heaven on the same day as the blessed mother
Went. She could be spunky when she believed in something. But mostly she was a blessing
To know with her lovely smile. Hold on to your memories. She was special.

My heart is sad, but joyful that you are with those you loved and our heavenly Father. I was hoping for more time for Saturday lunches, good talks, and silly laughter and hugs, my dear Aunt Jo. I will always be grateful that you, unselfishly, took care of me as an infant when my mom had a long illness, even with a house full of kids of your own. I will always remember, as a child, being so excited whenever my mom said “We are going over Aunt Jo’s”! Many happy memories at your house. You were a mother who fiercely loved your children, were always proud of them, and wanted the very best for them. Your work here is done, and may you rest in peace. We love and miss you, and we will see you again in eternity! To Joanne, Tom, Beth, Sal, Patti, Mike, Beth and families - you are in our prayers at this very sad time.

Oh my, Josephine. Taken to heaven on the feast of The Assumption and celebrated your mass of the resurrection during a solar eclipse----how special is that! How I will miss that contagious smile! Thank you for serving so faithfully, on our Respect Life committee and for all the loving volunteer work you did. You were a shining example of what we are all called to be as Catholic christians. May you now hear the words of Jesus "Well, done my good and faithful servant. Now enter into the home of my Father." Eternal rest grant unto her, oh Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
