Vito Tassone

Vito Tassone, age 63 passed away Sunday April 24, 2016 at his residence located in Middletown, Delaware. Vito was born in Serra San Bruno, Italy on November 24, 1952 by the late Francesco and Rosaria Tassone. Vito, along with two of his brothers (Nazzareno and Gregorio) were self employed Concrete Contractors who provided quality concrete construction services throughout the tri state area for over thirty-four years. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed relaxing days in the woods and weekends of long rides on his Harley Davidson. 

Vito is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Sharonlynn Tassone and his siblings Michele Tassone; (Giovanna), Josephina Tucci , Salvatore Tassone (Patricia), Cosmo Tassone (Victoria), Corrado Tassone (Giochina), Gregorio Tassone, Nazzareno Tassone (Christine), and Maria Crompton (Frank). He is survived by his children Scott Tassone (Jenny) and Rosellen Roop (Robert). Vito was a proud grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; Anthony and Caitlin Tassone along with Emma, Cooper and Liam Roop.

Vito is loved and will be missed by all. A visitation will be held on Friday April 29, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 901 North DuPont Street, Wilmington Delaware from 10 am until noon with a mass immediately following. Burial will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
