Delia M. Rivera

Delia M Rivera, age 61, died peacefully on Wednesday March 15, 2017, at Heartland Hospice home in Wilmington, DE. 
Born June 17, 1955 in San Juan, PR, Delia settled in Wilmington, DE  Delia, “Chacha”, will be remembered by all for her loving personality, and love of family. Her door was always open and on any given day you would find her home filled with family, friends, food, and laughter. 
Delia is survived by sons Jose Mercado, Luis Mercado, daughter Reina Mercado, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, father, Osvaldo Rivera, sisters, Ruth, Inez, Gladys, Myrian , Kathy, Cuca and Carmen, brothers, Ramon, Jose, Luis and Tito and a host of nieces and nephews an special acknowledgement to Crystal Diaz. 
She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Mercado, mothers, Ana Perez and Tomasa Cabassa, brother Daniel, sisters Lillian, Donna, Lina and MyrnaServices will be on March 21, 2017 at 11:30am at Corleto-Latina Funeral Home, 8th & Union St. Wilmington where family and friends may call after 10 am.
