Donald Henry Newman, age 86, of Wilmington passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Don was born in Callicoon, New York and came to Wilmington after joining the Air Force and was stationed in New Castle, Delaware. When he decided to stay in area he married and raised a family. He was a business owner for over 58 years. He is survived by his wife Jean Ellen Newman, his children; Debra Bye, Donald E., David H. and Daniel A. Newman along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Service on Friday evening, January 25, 2019 at 8pm at the Corleto Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union St. Wilmington, DE. 19805 where calling hours begin at 5pm. Interment will be held privately on Saturday at 10am in Silverbrook Cemetery.
