Felicita Pitts

 
Felicita Pitts, 94, formerly of Luther Towers in Wilmington and Dover, passed away Thursday afternoon December 21st after a long struggle with dementia. Felicita was born in Tivoli Texas, one of thirteen children and the last surviving member. Felicita moved to Wilmington, Delaware in the early 70’s where she worked as a housekeeper. Her career including the position as cook for former Governor Pete DuPont as well as Mr. and Mrs. Felix DuPont. She found comfort in her bible and was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Dover. Felicita is survived by her children: Sebastian Fox, Lewis Fox, Gloria Fox, Charlottie Eoppolo, Elizabeth Wolff, and Carl Pitts, along with three grandchildren Breeana Wolff, Lisa Fox and Julian Fox. At her request, her ashes will be scattered in Hawaii where her daughter Elizabeth resides.  Funeral Services will be held privately.
