Jerry Hulton peacefully took his last breath on June 11, 2018, surrounded by his wife and his dear friends, Dennis and Joan Miller.
Jerry was predeceased by his mother, Gertrude (Nugent); father, William J. Sr.; brother, James; brother, David.
Jerry was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and attended Ridley High School and also Ridley's Vo-Tech program, where he majored in car painting. Due to health issues, he had to relinquish this profession but continued to work in the automotive industry.
Jerry enjoyed vacationing in New England. He also liked taking long country rides through Lancaster, Pennsylvania and was known as the "go to" person when looking for a good smorgasbord. Jerry was known to remark that he hoped there was a "Shady Maple" in heaven. Jerry was also a humanitarian, who fed stray cats in his backyard.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Rose Marie (Oddo) Hulton; son, Andrew Allen; brother, William J. Jr. (Sandra); sister, Suzanne Kozma (Joseph); brother, Robert (Joanne); brother, Lawrence (Elisa); brother, Frederick. There is also a host of loving nieces and nephews that he leaves behind.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Erev Tubb and his Hematology Oncology Staff, the Saint Francis Hospital staff and Compassionate Care Hospice for the excellent care they gave Jerry. We would also like to acknowledge the assistance that many of our kind neighbors offered Jerry in getting to and from the car for doctors' visits and hospitalizations.
