Guerino "Goodie" Petrucci

Guerino (Goodie) Paul Petrucci passed away on July 21, 2018 at the age of 86.

Goodie graduated from H. Fletcher Brown Vocational Trade School in 1950.  In 1952, he served for two years in the US Army. He founded G. P. Petrucci Plumbing & Heating in 1959 and successfully operated the business through 1990.  From 1990-1998, he worked for the City of Wilmington as Mechanical Inspector, retiring in 1998.

Anyone who knew Goodie realized he was happiest when dancing!  He enjoyed having all of his children and their families together, especially on Father’s Day during the St. Anthony’s Italian Festival.

Goodie is survived by his four children, Linda Sidowski (Rich), Anthony Petrucci (Suzanne), Paul Petrucci (Nancy), Stephen Petrucci (Michelle), 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 27, 2018 at 12:30pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & DuPont St. Wilmington where a visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 8pm
