Harry R. Hurst       

Age 83 of Wilmington, DE passed away Sunday May 13, 2018 in Compassionate Care Hospice at St Francis Hospital.  He was born November 24, 1934 in Pennsylvania.  He worked at HyPoint Dairy before starting a lifelong career in plumbing.   He started out at Alfred Mousley’s Plumbing then Wilson T. Davis, and retired from Breeding & Day, Inc.After retiring, he stayed active by helping his son Harry in the landscaping business.   He enjoyed being outside, growing tomatoes and attending to the garden with his wife. His favorite pastime was playing and watching baseball. His favorite team was the Philadelphia Phillies.   He was preceded in death by his parents Harry & Bertha, brothers Roy and Charles and sister Barbara Ann.   He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Raceil and his son Harry, and sisters Violet Kirkner, Helen Conner, Doris Pyle and Nancy Sutton.   Services will be private.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the charity of their choice.
