James J. Williams

Jim went home to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by his family who loved him very much. Wife, Mary of 62 years, son Jim Williams, daughter-in-law, Elisa and grandsons Jimmy and Joey. Daughter Lisa Mullins, son-in-law, Tim, grandsons, Brandon (fiancé Bailey), Jordon (wife Jamie) and his great grandchildren, Ronan and Eisley.

Jim was born in Wilmington, Delaware to Mildred and Philip Williams. He served as a Corporal in the Korean War, Ninth Infantry Regiment, Second Division. Jim is survived by his brother Stephen Williams and preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Williams Paton and brother, Philip Williams.

Jim loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed Sunday dinners.  He was an avid sports fan. He truly had a heart of gold and made the world a better place for everyone he met and will be missed every day.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 9:15am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 801 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE. 19720

Burial will follow Mass in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE. at 11am.
