Louise A. DiSabatino

Louise A. DiSabatino, 93, of Wilmington, wife of the late Mario DiSabatino, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2017 after a short illness.  Louise was a 1954 Graduate of The Memorial Hospital School of Nursing where she became a Registered Nurse.  Through most of her life Louise worked as a school nurse at Warner Elementary School.  Louise enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing cards at the Claymore Senior Center.  She was a devoted Catholic.   Louise enjoyed family gatherings and special times with her daughter, and late husband Mario.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Rafaella Disabatino and James Alfano.  She is survived by her daughter Tina Michelle Disabatino-Knowhton and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.  Mass of Christiana Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, at 11:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and DuPont Sts., where family and friends may call after 10:00am.  Entombment will follow Mass in Cathedral Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 901 N.
