Michael Capano Sr.

Michael Capano Sr., 53, of Newark, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and loving friends on Friday, June 9th, 2017.  Michael was a quality homebuilder for over 30 years in New Castle County.  His company, White Oak Builders completed over 1200 homes during his career.  Michael’s hobbies included playing the drums, drawing and painting, hunting in Alaska and Canada and driving his Hummer.  Michael is survived by his wife Amber.  Three children, Alicia, Michael Jr. and Kelly, his father Mario and wife Becky, his grandmother Betty Capano, a sister Nicole Csoltko, and niece Amanda, his Uncles Frankie and Joe, and three loving and caring aunts, Rosemarie, Joy and Diane in addition to many cousins, relatives and friends. Michael was predeceased by his mother Sandra Lee.  A special and sincere thank you to Barb Marconi for her never ending help and support during Michael's illness.   Michael’s family would also like to express their gratitude to the staff of Seasons Hospice for their care and compassion.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 345 Bear Christiana Rd., Bear, DE. 19701 at 11 am., where a visitation will begin at 9 am.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in memory of Michael at the above address.  To send an online condolence please visit corletolatinafuneralhome.com
