Judy was a native Delawarean,  born in Wilmington on October 4, 1930.  She was the first of four daughters of Nicholas and Vera Corleto.  She graduated from Wilmington High School and then from Goucher College, where she majored in foreign languages and enjoyed playing the violin.  Shortly after college, Judy married Arthur J. Judy initially worked several years for the Wilmington Library in the Children’s Room.  Later she worked for Grace United Methodist Church pre-school.  In 1986 she began working for the State of Delaware Family Court, where she served the court as a well respected Mediator.

Judy’s many interests included painting, tennis, and bridge.  She was active with the Junior Board, the Delaware Art Museum Council and Holiday House Tours,  and the Delaware Symphony Orchestra.  She was a member at  the University and Whist Club, Wilmington Raquets Club and Hockessin Indoor Tennis.  She was a part time resident of Rehoboth Beach for many years.

Judy was predeceased by her husband in 2002 and her daughter-in-law Joan H. Sullivan in 2006.   Judy is survived by her three sisters, Carol Ann Dougherty, Suzanne Latina  and Nicole Blanchard; her children Brian A. Sullivan, Carol and spouse, Shaw Taylor, and Arthur Jr. and spouse, Betty Sullivan; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.

Our family thanks the staff of Stonegates Health Center for their excellent care of Judy.  A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 15 at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine church at 2 pm.  Interment will be held privately at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Ashland, DE.
