Rosemarie Jones

A much-loved daughter, sister, aunt and mother, Rosemarie Jones (nee Sulecki), 65, of New Castle, Delaware, passed away on August 20, 2018. She was a kind, empathetic, caring soul who faced life and illness with bravery and grace. She was born on December 7, 1952 in Wilmington, Delaware to Theresa Marie Sulecki (nee Scully) and Frederick Joseph Sulecki.

She is survived by siblings, Theresa M. Porter of Newark, Delaware; Marie T. Strazzella of Wilmington, Delaware; Edward J. Sulecki of Wilmington, Delaware; Patricia A. Sulecki of North Carolina; John J. Sulecki of Landenburg, Pennsylvania; Donna M. Sulecki of Hockessin, Delaware; Michele M. Crowl of Hockessin, Delaware and all of their children, her many beloved nieces and nephews as well her sons Francis Jones, Jeffrey Jones and Craig Jones, all of Delaware. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theresa M. Sulecki (nee Scully), Frederick J. Sulecki and siblings: Francis A. Sulecki, Frederick J. Sulecki, Raymond R. Sulecki, and Nancy L. Carver (nee Sulecki).

Her concern and love for others brings to mind a poem entitled Gone Away which summarizes the kind nature, warm heart and generous spirit of our beloved sister and aunt.

An Angel whispered take my hand and come with me

your work here is done.

I went away to a place where there's no tears, nor sorrow

only laughter and smiles, there will always be a Tomorrow.

As I move amongst the clouds.

I'll look down and smile upon you, while the angels

sing a heavenly song.

I am not alone all who went before

are here

they awaited my return.

I know you'll grieve  and wish I was still here

I am here in the memories you hold dear.

Remember how much I love you

and know I took your love with me.

I did not wish for you to cry, nor feel sad.

My pain is gone and I am Free!

Soon you'll come to me until then

God will be with you Just as He's with me.

No funeral services will be held as the family asks that you honor Rosemarie’s life by reaching out to one another, spreading a sense of love, importance and acceptance to those you hold dear.
