William L Phillips

William L. Phillips, age 82, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 3, 2017.  He was married for 55 years to the late Betty Jeanne Phillips. 

He retired from DuPont, the Delaware National Gaurd, and the Newark Senior Center.  He enjoyed family and friends, traveling, hunting, and fishing.  He spent many years on Bowling teams and hated when he had to miss poker nights. 

He is survived by his dear friend Marie Dominik and her loving family.  His daughter Ginger and husband Allen Mullins, son Michael and wife Robin Phillips, 6 grand children, and 14 great grand children, 7 loving and caring nieces and nephews and their families. 

He is now with his wife Betty Jeanne and son William Jr. who both preceded him to our lord. 

A Funeral Service will be held for William on Friday April 7, 2017 at 1:15pm at the Corleto-Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union St. Wilmington, where friends and family may call after 12:00pm.  Interment will follow services in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
