Alberico Cafini, age 92, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2026. He was born on August 27, 1933 in Pescara DelTronto, Italy to the late Attilio and Celeste Cafini. In April of 1958, he moved to the United States after marrying the love of his life, Vincenza, on August 29, 1957. Alberico was a hard-working man. He was employed at Schmidt Baking Company for many years before moving on to his next career working for DART Bus Company. While working for DART, Alberico saved a man’s life who was attempting to jump from a bridge. He received an accommodation for his heroics. After many years at DART, he decided to start his own trucking company. Then in 1985, he had a vision to start his own restaurant with his wife. Together they had a thriving business before deciding to retire and leave the business to their children. Shortly after he purchased a small piece of land in Townsend where he started a farm he lovingly called “Al Cafini’s Little Ranch”. He was very successful on the farm, as he was in all his endeavors. His grandchildren, great grandchildren and his farm were the pride and joy of his life. His grandchildren would spend nearly every weekend there and graciously called the farm home during their summers. His family was his number one priority, and he will be dearly missed by them, his friends, and his beloved dog, Audi.
Alberico was preceded in death by his wife, Vincenza. He is survived by his children, Adele, Carla Perrino (Monte), and Attilio (Michelle); by his grandchildren, Monte, Gabriella, Juliana (Peter), Attilio, Cristina (Edwin), and Alissa; his beloved great-grandchildren, Liona and Matteo Papili. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Mirella Cafini of Rome, Italy, as well as several nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Mario and Colomba Cafini and his brother, Angelo Cafini.
