Arlestice Mae Fisher, daughter of the late Phillip and Eliza Jane Fisher was born in Havelock, NC on March 22, 1944. Arlestice, who was loved and admired by many passed away peacefully at her residence in Wilmington, DE on Friday, October 27, 2023.
Arlestice was a loving mother, dedicated sister and friend. She was reared in the Adams Creek Community, and confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 13. She joined St. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on Adams Creek Road, Havelock. NC and enjoyed singing in the church choir and youth programs.
She is a graduate of Queen Steet High School, Beaufort, NC. She received her Bachelor's of Science Degree, Medical Technology, at Empire State College, NY. During her work career she was employed with Dr Leonard Stone, Manhattan, NY, M & M Labs, Brooklyn, NY, Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY, Victory Memorial Hospital, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Belvina Lenear, Lubbock Texas, 2 Brothers, Henry Matthew Fisher Sr and Albert Lee Fisher of Havelock, NC.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Linda Jean Fisher of the home, one brother, Robert Lee Fisher, New Bern, NC, two Sisters, Edna Fisher-Best of Queens, NY, and Esther Owens, Newport, NC. Four Nieces, Vondradina Taylor, Virginia Beach, VA, Erica Fisher, Raleigh, NC, Clarissa Fisher-Thompson, Marietta, GA, Eliza Jane Fisher, Neptune, NJ. Three nephews, Sean Fisher, Norway. Henry Matthew Fisher. JR, Baltimore, Maryland, Johnnie Lee Everette, Jr, Newport, NC, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held for Ms. Fisher on Thursday, November 2, from 11am - 1pm at the Corleto-Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union St. Wilmington, DE. All family and friends are invited to attend.
