Carmen Franco

Carmen Franco, of Wilmington, 80 years old passed away peacefully on June 24th, surrounded my her loving family.  Carmen was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico.  The daughter of Juan Lebron and Dominga Lebron.  In addition to her parents Carmen was preceded in death by her children Ana Maria Escobales and Freddy Matos Jr.

Carmen is survived by her husband of 31 years Juan Franco, her sisters Julie Rivera, Maria Lebron and Martina Lebron.  Carmen had 5 surviving children Gladys Matos, Luz Baez, Angel Matos, Roberto Escobales Jr., Cesar Escobales and Trina Johnson. 

Carmen had a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends and family. 

A Mass of Christiana Burial Will be celebrated on Monday July 3rd, at 10am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 4th and Jackson Sts. Wilmington.  Family and friends are invited to a visitation prior to Mass starting at 9am.  Interment will follow Mass in Silverbrook Cemetery.
