On the afternoon of Wednesday January 29, 2020, Dario Martinez passed away at the age of 33. Dario was born December 19, 1986 to Lucio Martinez Castillo and Clemencia Negrete Vasquez in San Juan Cuahmetoc Tlahuapan Puebla, Mexico. Dario came to the United States in 2008 in search of opportunity. He worked for Hakuna Hospitality group (Santa Fe Mexican Grill and Del Pez Mexican Gastropub) as a line cook for ten years and ended his cooking career at Grain Craft Bar and Kitchen. He loved to work in the kitchen and enjoyed the restaurant life very much. In November 2012, Dario married Kristin Cronin and together raised two beautiful children, Lucia and Isabella. When Dario was not working in the restaurant, he enjoyed futbol. He was an avid Cruz Azul fan. He loved music and his telenovelas. Dario was a humorous man and could make anyone in the room laugh. Dario was preceded in death by his father Lucio Martinez Castillo. He is survived by his two children - Lucia and Isabella Martinez, his mother - Clemencia Negrete Vasquez, brothers - Sergio Martinez Negrete, Lucio Martinez Negrete, Ismael Martinez Negrete and, Gualberto Martinez Negrete, his sisters – Hilda Martinez Negrete and Lucia Martinez Negrete. A public Memorial Service will be held at Holy Angels church on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 6:00 pm followed by mass at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to an educational fund set up for his two girls. Donations can be sent to Fulton Bank, 281 E. En la tarde del miércoles 29 de enero de 2020, Darío Martínez falleció a la edad de 33 años. Dario nació el 19 de diciembre de 1986, hijo de Lucio Martínez Castillo y Clemencia Negrete Vásquez en San Juan Cuahmetoc Tlahuapan Puebla, México. Darío llegó a los Estados Unidos en 2008 en busca de oportunidades. Trabajó para el grupo Hakuna Hospitality (Santa Fe Mexican Grill y Del Pez Mexican Gastropub) como cocinero de línea durante diez años y terminó su carrera culinaria en Grain Craft Bar and Kitchen. Le encantaba trabajar en la cocina y disfrutaba mucho de la vida del restaurante. En noviembre de 2012, Darío se casó con Kristin Cronin y juntos criaron dos hermosos hijos, Lucía e Isabella. Cuando Darío no trabajaba en el restaurante, disfrutaba del fútbol. Era un ávido fan de Cruz Azul. Le encantaba la música y sus telenovelas. Darío era un hombre humorístico y podía hacer reír a cualquiera en la habitación. Darío fue precedido en la muerte por su padre Lucio Martínez Castillo. Le sobreviven sus dos hijos - Lucía e Isabel la Martínez, su madre - Clemencia Negrete Vásquez, hermanos - Sergio Martínez Negrete, Lucio Martínez Negrete, Ismael Martínez Negrete y, Gualberto Martínez Negrete, sus hermanas - Hilda Martínez Negrete y Lucía Martínez Negrete. Un Servicio Conmemorativo público se llevará a cabo en la iglesia de Santos Angelos el martes 4 de febrero de 2020 a las 6:00 pm seguido de misa a las 7:00 pm.
