Deanna Marie Tusso

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dearly loved Deanna Marie Tusso, on December 28, 2025, at Jefferson-Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born on June 30, 1967, in Wilmington, Delaware, Deanna graduated from St. Elizabeth’s High School in 1985 and went on to attend Neumann University and graduated from Wilmington University with her associate degree.

 A devoted mother, daughter, and friend, Deanna enjoyed cooking, listening to music– especially Dave Matthews Band and U2– and following her favorite sports teams, the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, as well as her time spent at the Delaware beaches. She expressed her love for animals through the care she provided her cats over the course of her lifetime and theirs, each one cherished and finding a safe home with her. Deanna worked for over twenty years as a Technology Engineer specializing in voice‑technology at PNC Bank, where she was admired for her expertise and dedication. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for her kindness, wit, and undying love for her family and those close to her. 

 Deanna is survived by her daughter, Francesca Tusso, as well as her parents, Frank Tusso Jr. and Maryann DiBenedetto Tusso Hopkins, and her step-father, David Hopkins. 

 A Memorial Service will be held for Deanna on Thursday, January 22nd, from 11am – 1pm, at the Corleto-Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union Street Wilmington.  Where the Prayer Service will start at 12:15pm.  Interment will be private.
