Felix Baez-Lopez

Felix Baez Lopez, age 71, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Wilmington, Delaware.

Felix was born June 04, 1950 in Puerto Rico, to the late Felix Baez and Adelina Lopez. Felix Although his education was cut short he was a very knowledgeable man.. Felix was raised Christian and He believed in God, and His word. Felix had been employed by Allstate Powervac, Inc. for over 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, making home music videos, and he was very crafty. He enjoyed eating crabs on a nice summer day, along with good conversation. His story telling could definitely fill a room with laughter. He would always look forward to his weekend visits with his granddaughter Crystal, going out to eat with her and strolling through the farmers market, "para comer el mejor pizza del mundo", as he would say. He was an ace in dominoes. He was always ready to give great advice and share his wisdom, whether it was giving cooking lessons or making sure the family stay out of trouble, "aprenda conmigo y ni su mama te reganara", was his own saying.

Survived by his siblings Anibal, Efigenio, Carlos, Ramon, Judith.
His children Tina Vasquez, Rosa Lopez, Carmen Gonzalez, Yvette Diaz, Maritza Deleon, Gloria Soto, and Adamino Soto . 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and handfuls of nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, his wife Loida, his sons Tony Lopez and Juan Lopez, and his brother Oscar.

A Prayer service will be held on Friday February 11th, at 11:00am at the Corleto-Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union Street. Wilmington, Where Family and Friends may Visit after 10:00am.
Interment will follow service in Silverbrook Cemetery.
