Francis Beckman

Francis L (Larry) Beckman Wilmington, age 77, passed away on July 18, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, PA on 2/11/43.   He was the son of the late Francis and Gertrude (Kennelly) Beckman. Larry serve in the US Army from 1960 - 1963 where he was stationed in Hawaii, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years Susan Badger Beckman.  His son Larry Beckman (Cheryl).  His daughters  Bernadette Beckman (Jeff) and Kate Sklar (Jeff).   His brother Dennis Beckman and his sisters Maureen Gross and Diane Buckley (Richard). He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan Goldstein, Tyler and Jazmine Belonga, and Paige and Cassidy McKeown and great-granddaughter Harmoni Lynn Saunders.  Mr. Beckman was a member of the Delaware Veterans Post #1 of which he was an honor guard and American Legion   Post # 951 Boothwyn, PA. Larry was retired from Schmidt's Brewery, Lucent Technology, and Tyco Electronics. He enjoyed skiing when he younger and loved the Del Vets and being on their Honor Guard Team.  Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Corleto Latina Family Center,  807 N. Union St.,   Wilmington, DE  19805 from 11:00am to 12:00 Noon.  Interment will be at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.  Due to the corona virus, internment will be limited.
