Genny Bocanegra Carter

Genny Bocanegra Carter, age 42, went to be with God on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 after her brave battle with neuroendocrine cancer.

Born in Newark, NJ, Genny grew up surrounded by her big Puerto Rican and Peruvian family.

Genny was an amazing mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, coworker, and so much more. She was an easy person to love and was adored by many.

Genny leaves behind her loving husband Rayan; three beloved daughters, Victorya, Anaya, and Makayla; cherished mother and father, Wanda and Victor Bocanegra; brothers Jaffery and his wife Elana, Jayson and his wife Kristina; three nephews, Jonathon, Evan, and Adam; niece, Ella; and many more family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00pm until 8:00m on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Corleto-Latina Funeral Home, 808 N Union Street, Wilmington, DE, 19805.
