George (Buddy) F. Bowman III – Kemske
George (Buddy) Kemske died peacefully on 10/21/2020 at the age of 76 at Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, DE. George (Buddy) was born March 23, 1944 in St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington.
He is survived by his sweetheart and wife of 57 years, Donna Rorabaugh-Kemske, His son Jeffrey J. Kemske and his wife Tracy Kemske, His daughters Kimberly Kemske-Hodge and her husband John Hodge, and Cindy L. Kemske-Nichols and her husband John Nichols, his granddaughter Kristin Nichols and grandson Christopher Barker, and many beloved great-grandchildren.
His is also survived by his adoptive father Paul Kemske Sr. (DE), brothers Paul Kemske Jr. (DE) and Robert Kemske (DE), His sisters Barbara Kennedy (AZ) and Pat Heiber (DE), and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ronnie B. Bowman-Kemske-Sartin, his father George F. Bowman II, his sister Kathrine Bowman, and his brother Michael Kemske.
George (Buddy) had a passion for hot-rod vintage cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed metal detecting, western movies, antiques, and his favorite sports team the Philadelphia Phillies. He was an authorized automobile mechanic for over 50 years working for several dealerships in the Delaware area.
Funeral services are private. The family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to The American Heart Association.
