John Santiago, Jr. Obituary

John "Chino" Santiago Jr. passed away on February 13th 2021 at the age of 65 after a corageous battle with cancer. John was born on October 17th 1955 in Manhattan New York. He was a loving caring father, grandfather and brother. John loved sports and played baseball through out his high school years. He also became a substitute teacher and teached drivers education in the Bronx New York. He later moved his family from the Bronx New York to Wilmington Delaware in the early 1980s. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to John. John had an uncanny ability to find happiness and laughter in his daily life activities with his loved ones. His pleasant character and funny personality was contagious to everyone he met. John is survived by his 4 children John, Isreal, Umi, and Yvette Santiagoalong with his 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Julia Santiago, Maria Albino, Flor Delgado, Mirium Santiago, Evelyn Martinez, Julia Reyes, Mildred Oyola, and Marisa Espada.

"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
