Jose Antonio Perez

Jose Antonio Perez passed away at the age of 59 on January 17, 20201, he was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico on August 11, 1961 but raised in Wilmington, Delaware, he worked in cabinetry, Walt’s Chicken and worked for John’s Discount Appliances as a repair and delivery man.

He is preceded in death by his father Ernesto Perez and stepfather Luis Diaz Sr.

Jose who is known as Tony leaves behind his mother Ada Mercado, sisters Maria, Maribel (Luis), brothers Rafael, Hector, and Luis Diaz Jr. (Stephanie), his aunt Juanita and eleven (11) nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends.

Tony liked drawing and loved to collect toy cars. He loved music and his favorite band was Earth, Wind and Fire. Tony’s pass time was known for chatting on Facebook and sending words of encouragement daily to his family and friends. He will be truly missed.

Funeral Services for Tony are Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 10am to 12noon at the Corleto Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union Street Wilmington, DE. 19805.

Interment will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery.
