Josephine Dolores Dembkowski

Josephine Dembkowski (Shavico), passed away peacefully at home with her family on December 30, 2020, to join her beloved husband Edward Dembkowski who predeceased her.

 Josephine was born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 20, 1930 and where she raised her 5 children.  Josephine’s husband Edward Dembkowski of 56 years, predeceased her.  She is survived by her 5 children:  Amos Shavico (Carol), Catherine Taylor, Judi McGibbon, Dana Dembkowski-Thornton (Kenneth) and Mark Dembkowski (Olympia).  She had many grandchildren and great grand-children.

 Service will be private.  Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.  A celebration of Josephine’s life will be held in the future.
