Lillian G. Kempski passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025 in Christiana hospital at the age of 93. Her devotion to her family and firm faith supported her through all her struggles and ultimately brought her peace.
Lillian was born in New Castle, Delaware and graduated from St Peter’s High School. She worked as a secretary for DuPont where she met her husband of 64 years, Alfred Kempski Sr. She loved watching the Golden girls, cooking and spending time with her family. Lillian was a kind, loving and selfless person. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a loyal friend.
Lillian is proceeded in death by her husband, Alfred Kempski Sr, her parents, Hilda and Domenic Giansanti, her sisters Mary Panella, Amelia Filippone andTheresa Susi and her sweet great granddaughter Lennon Kempski.
She is survived by her loving children, Alfred Kempski Jr, Roxane Calvetti, Karen Kempski, and grandchildren, Dominic Calvetti, Theresa Kracyla, Stefan, Vincent , Christopher, Matthew and Michael Kempski as well as 4 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial Will be Celebrated on Wednesday February 19, 2025, at 12:00pm at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Rd. Wilmington. Visitation will begin at 10:30am on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at St. John the beloved church. Interment will immediately follow Mass in All Saints Cemetery.
