Linda at age 74, passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 8, 2022.

Linda worked for Delaware State Hospital, retiring in 2010 after 28 years. She was a longtime member of the Prince of Piedmont Lodge and St. Anthony’s Club. In her pastime she enjoyed playing cards, bingo and going out to dinner with her girlfriends. She also looked forward to her annual Irish weekend in Wildwood, New Jersey with all of her friends.  She will always be remembered by her sweet, electric personality, infectious laugh, love of dancing and kindness to all. She was known as Mom-Mom Linda to not only her grandchildren but to all of their friends as well. Her non judge-mental, embracing, loving persona touched the lives of so many. She will be truly missed.

Linda was proud of her Italian heritage.  She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Anthony’s of Padua Roman Catholic Church and volunteered at the annual Italian Festival.  She was also a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality.  She was an avid baker and also known for her Italian culinary specialties. Some of the most requested family favorites were her tarallucci cookies, pound cake, chicken cutlets and eggplant parmesan.

Linda absolutely adored spending quality time with her grandchildren, Beau and Lola who were the light of her life.  She enjoyed watching Beau wrestle, Lola play volleyball and attending their summer swim meets. She was looking forward to relocating with her daughter and family to Ocean View, Delaware in the upcoming months.

Linda is survived by her daughter Doreen Minner (Bruce), her grandchildren Beau and Lola; her sister in law, Judy DeAngelis, nieces Denise, Laurie, Gina, Roseann, Julie and her nephew Christopher.  Her great nieces and nephews; Ali, Gabby, Sarah, Hank, Finnegan and Michael.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Orlando (Reds) and Vera DeAngelis.  Her brothers Lawrence and Leonard DeAngelis and her sister in law Antoinette DeAngelis.
