Louise Pocetto Nepa was born on August 5, 1923 in the Little Italy area of Wilmington, Delaware. She was the 3rd daughter born to Josephine & Dominic Pocetto. She was Baptized at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wilmington. She was one of 5 children, 3 sisters: Jean, Rose, Olimpia (Lee), and her brother, Alexander (Sandy) Pocetto. On June 1st, 1940, she married her loving husband, Leonard Nepa. Her beloved Len died in 1970.
Louise was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was also an extraordinary woman, an accomplished interior decorator, and a realtor. She volunteered her many talents to her parish church, family, and neighbors, and the Republican Party. She never let anyone go hungry and was an exceptional cook. She loved music, especially music she could dance to, jokes, playing cards, and the sound of slot machines. She was very lucky at the latter two pastimes. Louise leaves behind to cherish her memory, a beloved daughter, Penny Nepa, her brother, “Uncle Sandy”, and many relatives and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on September 2, 2022 at 11 AM. There will be no viewing.
