Luis Reynaldo Santiago

August 8, 1966 ~ August 11, 2021 (age 55)

Obituary

A Father’s love is unconditional, in any situation he is the first to greet you with a warm embrace, immediately followed by a joke, and ultimately ending with an “I love you and I am so proud of you.” A Father always places the needs of others’ before himself and is sure to remind you, through his infectious and gracious spirit, of all the good times you’ve spent together. A Father’s life becomes a lesson created to make the lives of his children better than his own, every moment becomes part of us forever. There is not a day that goes by you will ever forget how much his love is present even when he is not—his love is forever unconditional.

On Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 our family sadly lost a loving member when Luis Reynaldo Santiago, affectionately known as Rey, passed away of natural causes.

Rey was born on August 8th, 1966 to Adrian and Evangelista Santiago. Rey was one of 19 brothers and sisters. Rey was known for his big heart and even bigger smile and personality. Rey loved being around his big family and creating memories with everyone of his brothers and sisters, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rey had an infectious presence that could make a room full of people laugh with his many jokes and crazy stories. He will live in our hearts and memories forever.

Rey is survived by his loving children; Reynaldo Santiago, Shandy Perez, Milena Perez, Lorimar Perez and Daniella Schorah; grandchildren, Armany Joel Perez, Aliana Provi Mace, Liam Donato, Noah Donato, and Tessa Jade Santiago. Rey is also survived by 17 brothers and sisters; and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Adrian Santiago; and one sister Ada Santiago.
