Madeline Julia Caceres passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Born on January 25, 1945, she was the beloved daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Glick, the devoted wife of Geraldo Caceres her husband of 64 years and a cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She will be remembered as an avid sports fan and loved cheering on her Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles. She spent 32 years working at Caceres Market side by side with her husband. Known as a hard worker, Madeline continued working various retail jobs at Marshalls and Value City. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family especially cooking large meals during the holidays.
She is survived by her children, Geraldo(Petra), Madeline, Maria(Mike), Julio(Jill), Jose(Charlene), Elva, Robert(Alexis). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her sisters Margaret, Mildred, Doris Marie and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Charles and James, and her grandson Antione.
A service to honor her life will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Wilmington, Delaware. The viewing will be held from 9:30 am – 11:00 am, with the service beginning at 11:00 am.
Burial will be held immediately following at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware
