Maria Cherico

Maria cherico was a wonderful mother daughter sister grandmother and friend she left this world suddenly on April 26th 2022 at the age of 67

She was born to the late Irene and Gabriel cherico on August 2nd 1954.   Maria loved and cherished her stepfather Harry, who raised her from the age of 10, after her biological father passed away suddenly. 

Maria worked at her mother's restaurant at a very young age, and continued there until she was 18. She graduated from Conrad High School, afterwards she decided to venture off and live life.   She loved nature modeling and most of all loved being a mother to her daughter.   She was the best mother there could ever be, she was very funny, sassy,  smart and outgoing. Maria loved and welcomed everyone with open arms.

Maria is survived by her daughter Amber Marie cherico and her sister Joy Irwin she also is preceded in death by her brother Thomas and Anthony Robert cherico and most of all her granddaughter Avonna Marie Cherico, her services are going to be held at Corleto-Latina Family Center at 807 North Union Street in Wilmington Delaware 19805 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday May 12th 2022
