Maria (aka Chavin) lived a remarkable life and she unexpectedly ascended to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2025. She is leaving behind a legacy and many cherished memories. Her children, family, and friends adored her deeply. To know her was to love her! Chavin's passion for cooking and cleaning inspired joy and warmth in those around her. Her mantra was to live life to the fullest, embracing every moment with gratitude. Her culinary creations, including sofrito, rice, pasteles, flan, and pastelillos brought people together in love and laughter. Chavin's infectious laughter and humor will be deeply cherished and missed! She is survived by her three children, Darling Morales (Tito Rodriguez), Jocelyn Morales (Antwyne Mangrum), Delsy Morales (Carlos Rosa) and her grandchildren, Anthony Morales, Olivia Quick,Aliyah Rivera, Jacob Rodriguez (Lula her great grand daughter) & Caleb Rodriguez, Tahjee, Zamarah, Twy’Niah, Jocerah & Nathaniel Mangrum, Alexander (Alex), Jeremih, Yassiel, Avian & Dorian Rosa. Her sister, Titi Monin, closest cousin/sister, Ana Romero and Mr. T along with numerous family and friends who will deeply miss her. Chavin was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Morales, her son, Juan Morales Jr., and others family and friends. Though her passing leaves a void, we find solace in knowing she has gained her wings. Heaven has welcomed her with open arms. We will miss her dearly, but we will celebrate her life, the memories she created, and the love she shared.
