Marisol Baez

Marisol “ Tui “ Baez, age 45, unexpectedly earned her wings on Thursday, March 6th 2025.

Tui was born in Wilmington DE, on June 22nd, 1979. She attended St. Paul’s catholic school and graduated from Alexis I. DuPont high school.

Tui loved being manager at Dunkin’ Donuts. She had a passion for it. She took pride in everything she did and working for dunkin was something she did with pride and love.

Tui loved spending time with her grandkids and daughters. As well as going for walks with her dog Lucy and her best friend Shawn. She always had a smile on her face and brought her joy with her wherever she went. Tui enjoyed the small things in life, like going out with her daughters to shop, or simply watching her favorite day time TV show.

You’d often times see her humming her favorite songs while bouncing her head to the beat. She loved to tell stories! All of her daughters and nieces loved to sit down and listen to her. She loved to laugh and just be silly. She had the kindest heart and her love will be remembered and cherished forever.

Marisol was preceded in death by her mother, Celia Baez, brothers, Daniel and Alex Baez; Maternal grandparents, Pauline and Francisco Burgos, Paternal grandparents; Francisco Baez and Carmen Rodriguez; and many other extended family members.

She is survived by her father, Francisco Baez jr ; daughters, Shayla, Chelsea, Amandis, Jeselia, and Sophia.

Grandkids, Christopher, Gabriella, and zaviar. Sister, Wanda and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Baez/Burgos family would like to thank the staff at Christiana, Wilmington Hospital for their care and compassion that was shown during Tuis illness. We would also like to personally thank everyone who came to see her.

A Prayer service will be held for Marisol on Tuesday March 18, 2025, at the Corleto-Latina Family Center, 807 N. Union St. Wilmington, DE at 9:30am.  Visitation will follow Prayer Service from 10am-11am.  Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery immediately follow the Visitation at 11:30am.
