Mary A (Giansanti) Panella       4/9/1930 - 3/1/23      Age, 92 years old

Mary peacefully passed to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 1st after a long illness. Mary was a wonderful person, wife, mother, sister, daughter, grand mom, great grand mom and friend. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Ben, daughter Debbie and husband Mike, son Ken and wife Kelly, daughter in law Maria (Jerry), nine grand children, Michael (Candice), Adam (Lucy), Lindsay, Kelsy (Zach), Krista (Ryan), Kenny (Marybeth), Karlee (Spencer), Ben (Erika), Vincent (Alexa) and three great grand children, Michael, Ava and Blair. And her sister, Lilian. She is predeceased by her son, Jerry, sisters Theresa and Maya and her parents.

After retiring she moved to their South Bethany beach house and enjoyed a wonderful life with her husband. She loved being surrounded by her family and sharing stories and wonderful memories. She was a fantastic cook and baker and loved preparing wonderful meals and goodies. She took so much pride in watching her family enjoy her creations and masterpieces. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 14th at 11am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & DuPont Street Wilmington, DE. 19805.

A visitation will be held from 9am to 11am at the Church.   Entombment will follow Mass in Cathedral Cemetery.
