Olivia Jean Andrews was called home on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington.
Olivia, also known as Lou, Sprite, O, OJ, and Scuttlebutt, was born on August 4, 2012. She began her short life as a fighter, born months early at just 1lb 12oz. She continued this fight until her very last breath.
Olivia had an amazingly infectious smile. And for someone who could not walk or speak very well, she made friends everywhere she went.
Olivia attended school through the Meadowood program and was consistently recognized for being bright, attentive, and respectful.
Olivia loved amusement park rides, music, baking, dancing, and bad words. She had a great sense of humor and delighted in making people laugh.
Olivia was preceded in death by her father, Colleaf Andrews, her grandfather, Joseph Garbe, and her Mimi, Mary Anne Lamancusa.
She is survived by her mother, Kimberly Garbe, her “Dobbi” Robbi-Devaughn Jones, her grandmother, Susan Garbe, her uncles Jeff (Amber) Garbe and Joseph Garbe. Her aunts, Nicole (Butter) Randolph, and Jean Garbe. Her brothers Elijah and Isaiah Andrews, her sister Raven Andrews Her godfathers Matt Nichols and Joe Laux, and her cousins John, Jacob, Joey, Lincoln, Emily and Marielle.
