Otis B. Henderson, Jr.

Otis B Henderson Jr, 63 years old, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away at home on August 1, 2022. He was born and raised in Wilmington and attended Wilmington High School. He worked at General Motors for 19 years and was most recently employed as a roofer by P&C Roofing where he was awarded the Employee of the Year for 2021. Otis loved riding his bicycle along the Brandywine and the Riverfront. He also loved to fish and exercise. He really loved cats and even if he did not own one, he would feed the neighborhood strays.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Jennie Henderson, his two brothers, Edward and Robert Henderson, brother-in-law, Rafael Collazo, and sister-in-law, Juanita Henderson. Otis is survived by his siblings, Joseph Henderson (Carolyn), James Henderson, Alice Thursby (Arthur), Beverly Harrison (William), Shirley Collazo, and Mary Ryan (Randy). He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Linda Henderson, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Otis will be on August 12, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Church, 809 S Broom St, Wilmington, DE, 19805 at 9:30am followed by Mass at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to:
