Pasquale C Remedio Jr

Pasquale C. Remedio, Jr., age 86, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on August 17th, 2022.  Born in Wilmington, DE to the late, Pasquale and Anna (Mele) Remedio.  He graduated from Wilmington High School and joined the US Army and was stationed in Germany in the same unit as Elvis Presley.  He was a Firefighter for the City of Wilmington.  After retirement he purchased real estate, fixed up houses and was a landlord to many tenants that became good friends.  He loved to travel and experience different cultures.  He enjoyed ballroom dancing.  He had a great sense of humor and would always make people laugh.  He enjoyed his family and friends and had many happy memories and funny stories to share.  Pat is survived by his daughter, Patricia, his siblings Daniel Remedio and Ann Patton, and his lifelong friend Phyllis Yeatman along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph and his beloved Yorkshire Terrier Higgins.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & DuPont Sts., Wilmington, DE. Family and friends may visit in the Church beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Cathedral Cemetery following the mass.
